New members are welcome to join our club, if you are a beginner you will complete our 3 week induction course which will cover the basics.
Juniors, teens and adults are welcome.
Sessions are £8 which includes all equipment and tutoring. Send us a message if you’d like to get started.
Opportunities are available to gain British Canoeing Start, Discover, Explore and Paddle Safer awards delivered by our experienced coaches.
If you’d like to get involved in Whitewater Kayaking we will first teach you the skills you’ll need in the pool, and we run trips on local rivers whenever the weather allows.
If you can already paddle, you will need to complete a capsize drill supervised by an instructor in your first pool session.
Children:
Minimum age is 11, unless you are a paddler and want to accompany your children over 8 years old.
Membership:
Club Membership is £25 per year, you will also require Canoe Wales membership.

Tawe Kayak Club has a varied membership with members participating in Recerational, White Water, Sea Kayaking, Surf Kayaking, Open Canoeing, Paddleboarding and Canoe Polo.
As a club our primary focus is currently White Water and Recreational paddling.
